Welcome!

03b1 Lady of Justice-darkJPEG

We lawyers get hired to fix other people's problems.

All day long -- all week long (7 days a week for some lawyers), we address and resolve the problems, issues and concerns of our clients.

We are diligent, resolute and responsive when it comes to dealing with matters pertaining to our clients.

BUT, WHAT ABOUT OUR OWN  PROBLEMS, ISSUES AND CONCERNS???

  • when we are not as effective and efficient as we know we should be?
  • when we know that our organization skills leave a great deal to be desired?
  • when we know that our work-life and personal-life are out of balance?
  • when we no longer have the passion for the work that we do - - and/or no longer feel satisfied and fulfilled in our career?
  • when work-related thoughts keep us up at night?
  • when we don't want to discuss our innermost problems with our colleagues, or when we don't have any colleagues with whom we can confide?
  • when we realize that we are no longer as "happy" as we once were?

We lawyers tend to place our own problems, issues and concerns at the "bottom of the stack," if not ignore them altogether.

Hopefully, one or more of the Posts in this Blog (listed in the column on the left of this page) will be helpful to you; or, if not to you, then perhaps to a colleague who you know could use some help.

...and, we welcome your Comments to the Posts in this Blog which, in turn, will be helpful to other readers.
